CoCBuilds Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO)

HUD Released a new 2024 CoCBuilds Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) on 7/24/24, KS-505’s CoC Board approved accepting Letters of Intent.  

The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) has released a new Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO), Continuum of Care (CoC) Builds. The CoCBuilds NOFO will add new units permanent supportive housing for individuals and families experiencing homelessness through new construction, acquisition, or rehabilitation. The CoCBuilds NOFO outlines additional CoC Program eligible activities and costs that may be included in your application. Additionally, CoCs are encouraged to leverage funds provided for construction, acquisition, or rehabilitation of new PSH units with other funding sources to maximize the amount of housing that can be directed to meeting the needs of individuals and families experiencing homelessness. The KS-505 CoC Board met on 7/30/24 and approved accepting Letters of Intent from interested applicants to consider submitting a proposal to HUD. UCS serves as Johnson County’s CoC Collaborative Applicant and will manage the submission process. Interested applicants must submit a Letter of Intent by 8/28/24 @ 4pm to ritac@ucsjoco.org .
